November 17, 1983- Ryan Braun born in Mission Hills, CA
2005 season-Braun averages .388 batting percentage at the University of Miami
June 7, 2005-Milwaukee Brewers draft Ryan Braun in the fifth round
2005 Rookie Season-Played 10 games for the Helena Brewers, then promoted to West Virginia Power
2006 season- Begins season playing for A-Advanced Brevard County Manatees
June 17, 2006- Selected to play in Florida State League All-Star game
June 21, 2006- Promoted to AA Huntsville Stars
2007 season- Promoted to AAA Nashville Sounds
May 25, 2007-Braun makes Milwaukee debut vs San Diego; went 1-4 with two RBIs
May 26, 2007-Hits first Major League home run
June 2007-Braun wins rookie of the month
July 2007- Wins another Rookie of the month as well as NL Player of the Month
September 2007- Finishes season with 34 home-runs
November 12, 2007- Wins Rookie of the year award
June 3, 2008-Braun becomes third-fastest Major Leaguer to reach 50 career home runs
July 16, 2008- Braun plays in his first All-Star game
September 2008- finishes season with 37 home runs, 106 RBIs, wins Silver Slugger Award
July 14, 2009- plays in second consecutive All-Star game
September 2009- finishes season with NL leading 203 hits, wins consecutive Silver Slugger award
July 13, 2010-plays in third consecutive All-Star game
September 2010- wins third career Silver Slugger award
July 12, 2011- plays in fourth All-Star Game
October 2011- Finishes season with 33 home runs, 187 hits, 33 stolen bases
November 22, 2011-wins NL MVP, also wins Silver Slugger award
December 10, 2011- ESPN’s Outside The Lines reports that Braun tested positive for an elevated level of testosterone, and faced a 50 game suspension
January 2012- Braun successfully appeals the drug test and suspension is lifted
February 24, 2012- Braun holds a press conference proclaiming, “I would bet my life that the substance never entered my body at any point”
April 30, 2012-becomes first player to homer 3 times in one game at Petco Park
September 16, 2012- hits 200th home run, and 40th of the season in the same game
November 2012- wins 5th Silver Slugger award
July 22, 2013-Braun suspended without pay for the remainder of the season for violating Major League Baseball’s drug policy
